Name the Ten Commandments from Exodus 20 (King James Version)
1And God spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12 Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
A recent survey showed that the average Christian could name only half of the Ten Commandments, reflecting a real need for the churches to do a better job of teaching them.
Our American Christian Heritage
Our Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution knowing that rulers are ministers. They believed that they should not only serve those over whom they were to exercise authority, but that the ruler is a servant of God! They wrote the Constitution knowing that rulers are God's ministers serving, not only God, but those over whom they were to exercise authority. They gave America a Christian heritage.
For rulers are...ministers of God to thee for good, Romans 13:3-4
Our American Christian forefathers knew that all authority resides in God for Jesus said, "All power/ authority is given unto me in heaven and in earth," (Matt.28:18). No one has any authority unless itís given by God. All authority is delegated to men by the highest authority, God. Rulers have their authority from God. It takes great understand to pass the American Heritage to others.
As the Bible reflects this quote:
The centurion in Matthew 8:9 stated, "I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it."

Moses and the Ten Commandments
31 (For the LORD your God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which he swore to them.
32 For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven to the other, whether there has been any such thing as this great thing is, or has been heard like it?
33 Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the middle of the fire, as you have heard, and live?
34 Or has God assayed to go and take him a nation from the middle of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
35 To you it was showed, that you might know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him.
